Naked Opera is proud to present a unique corporate development activity suitable for companies who are interested in group projects for their personnel.
WHAT IS SINGERGY?
Singergy is a half-day or full-day development session, suitable for twenty or more participants where Naked Opera's team of musicians and voice coaches teach them to sing like professionals. The team teaches each group a song and, at the end of the session, the group gives a 'performance' for their own pleasure.
At Naked Opera we believe everyone can sing, and that all singers (beginners or improvers) benefit from some expert training to increase their capability. Ability builds its own confidence.
No prior experience or special aptitude is required of the participants.
WHY SINGING?
Singing together is one of the most powerful bonding activities known to man,as any football crowd will testify. It unites people in a common embrace of positive energy. Whilst singing together individuals lend each other courage and confidence, which adds up to more than the sum of the parts.
Singing together - no matter how you feel - makes you feel better. Acquiring the skills to make singing easy and effective is a truly life-enhancing benefit.
Extended periods of singing and performing live have proven health benefits, and do not require the physique of an athlete to participate.
Everyone already possesses the essential equipment.
Rehearsing and performing together are expressive arts and foster lasting friendships. Singing together breeds a particular camaraderie.
Performing is the ultimate teamwork, and "curtain-up" the ultimate deadline.
Participation builds confidence - participants enjoy the process and feel proud in their achievement.
Developing vocal skills helps to free the individual from inhibition and helps them "walk tall".
The strong, released breathing associated with singing encourages good physical and mental health, and ensures a good night's sleep!
The corporate playing field is levelled while we sing. All singers are equal.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You supply the room and the participants - we bring the piano, the music and the expertise.
Our coaches are experienced performers who have worked with the widest possible range of singers, from absolute beginners to West End stars.
Our half day session lasts 3 hours (full day 6 hours). This includes a breakout session and ends with a rousing rendition of a popular song or chorus.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GET INVOLVED?
Singergy suits any size of group with an approximate minimum of 20.
There is no limit on the range of age or physical ability, and the ratio of women/men is not important.
Singergy is suitable for delivery in the workplace or offsite.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Each half-day session costs £1000. A whole day session (2 x half day with the same group of participants in the same venue) costs £1800.
