MUSICAL
Naked Opera presented the premier performance of David Finlay's new musical comedy, The Hare And The Tortoise, at the Gilmorehill G12 theatre in Glasgow on 15 September 2007.
The show brings together David's careers in writing, music and motorsport. In this telling of the Aesop fable, the Hare challenges the other woodland animals to race against him in the Forest Grand Prix, and only the Tortoise is willing to accept.
Help and hindrance come from other characters unimagined by Aesop, including the Unicorn, the Vegetarian Tiger, the Pit Lane Birds and the Depressed Koala.
Directed by Steve Dollan, with Musical Direction by Alan Craig, the first production featured a cast of future stars including:
